BY AIR

Vancouver Island has a well-developed transportation infrastructure that allows for easy sea, air, rail and road travel. Travellers can land at the Qualicum Beach Airport connecting flights from Vancouver International Airport with KD Air. Westjet and others fly direct from Calgary and Edmonton into the Comox Valley Airport which is a 45 minute drive up the coast. The Nanaimo Airport at Cassidy with Air Canada is only 45 minutes by car. Among other routes there are float plans with Harbour Air seaplanes which offer flights from downtown Vancouver to downtown Nanaimo.

BY WATER

Cruise in comfort via B.C's world class ferry system which can cross the Strait of Georgia from Vancouver to Nanaimo. Regular ferry sailings from Nanaimo Departure Bay to the Mainland Horseshoe Bay and from Nanaimo Duke Point to Tsawwassen.

BY TRAIN

If speed is not an issue, relax and ride the historic E&N Rail Liner which leaves Victoria each morning with scheduled stops in Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
